The "Global Medical AI Innovation Competition" initiated by JD Health aims to explore the cutting-edge technology and innovative applications in the medical industry, and collaborates with various academic, research, and industrial entities to promote high-quality development in the healthcare service sector.
This competition focuses on two research topics: "Sleep Monitoring Intelligent Algorithm" and "Medical Large Model Innovation Application". Detection of Sleep Apnea and Hypopnea
呼吸暂停和低通气是常见的睡眠障碍,其特征是在睡眠期间出现超过10秒的呼吸暂停或呼吸减弱,导致间歇性的低氧血症(血液中氧气水平降低)和睡眠结构的破坏。当前,诊断这种综合征需要患者在医院佩戴多导睡眠监测设备入睡,这对患者的身心造成较大干扰,不利于在家庭中普及。因此,研究一种舒适便捷的呼吸暂停和低通气检测替代技术具有重要意义。
Sleep apnea and hypopnea are common sleep disorders characterized by episodes of breathing pauses or reduced breathing lasting more than 10 seconds during sleep, leading to intermittent hypoxemia (reduced oxygen levels in the blood) and disruption of sleep architecture. Currently, diagnosing these syndromes requires patients to wear a multichannel sleep monitoring device to sleep in a hospital, which causes significant physical and mental discomfort, making it difficult to popularize in-home settings. Therefore, developing a comfortable and convenient alternative technology for detecting sleep apnea and hypopnea is of great significance.

The Innovative Applications of Medical Large Models Competition aims to explore and uncover the limitless potential of large model technology in the medical and health sector. The competition encourages participants to combine cutting-edge large model technologies with the specific needs of consumer-end users in the medical and health industry to develop innovative solutions, so as to create a new supply of quality healthcare resources, promote the optimal allocation of medical resources, improve the quality and efficiency of medical health services, and achieve personalised and intelligent solutions to meet users' healthcare needs.
